It is with regret that I advise all personnel that Retired Senior Firefighter Frank MUNDAY (Reg No 601) passed away on Monday 1st October.
Frank joined the MFB on the 11th August 1950 and retired on 30th December 1981 after serving the Brigade and the Community for more than 31 years. On joining the Brigade he served at Headquarters for a brief period before transferring to Eastern District where he served at FS 23, FS 21, and FS 18 before transferring to the old Communications Centre at Headquarters.
A funeral to celebrate Franks life will be held at the Lilydale Memorial Park Chapel, 126 Victoria Road, Lilydale, on MONDAY 8th October commencing at 14:15 hours.
