It is with sadness that I wish to inform you that retired LFF Wayne Simpson (Simmo) passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer. Simmo will be missed by many Western District firefighters.
Please note that Wayne’s family have advised that the funeral service will be held on Friday 16/11/2012 at 1030am at the Fawkner Memorial Park, followed by a private cremation.
At the family’s request a guard of honour will be formed after the service, full dress uniform will therefore be required.
