It is with regret that I advise that retired Firefighter Wesley Spencer (Reg No 357) passed away on 25 July 2013.
Wesley joined the Brigade on 17 February 1950 and retired on15 September 1978 after serving the brigade and community for over 28 years.
After his initial training at Eastern Hill, Wesley spent the majority of his career at Newport, Altona and Spotswood stations.
