It is with regret that l advise all personnel that Retired Senior Firefighter Ron McINTOSH (Reg No: 1400) passed away peacefully at Tatura Hospital, after a brief period of illness, on 2 September .
Ron joined the MFB on the 31 May 1957 and took an early retirement on 8 February 1980 after serving the Brigade and community for almost 23 years. Records indicate that Ron was a “D” Platoon member and served his entire career in Central District with time spent at FS 1, FS 38, FS 35 and FS 39.
A funeral service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held at the Valley Funerals Chapel, Francis Street, Tatura on Saturday 7 September at 13:00 hours. At the conclusion of the Service the Cortege will proceed to the Tatura Cemetery for burial.
