It is with regret that l advise all personnel that Retired Senior Firefighter Barry PRICE (Reg No: 1248) passed away this morning (6 May) after a short battle with illness.
Barry followed in the footsteps of his father, Senior Fireman Bert Price, and joined the MFB on 12 April 1956 and retired on 7 July 1986 after serving the Brigade and community for over 30 years. During his career Barry served at FS 1, FS 2, FS 41, FS 20, FS 18, FS 19 and FS 26.
