Our series of donation updates since the start of 2020 starts with this massive contribution. Following the Black Summer bushfires 2019/2020, the Firefighters Charity Fund made a donation of $100,000 to assist the charity BlazeAid with the important recovery work happening around the country.
The donation has been split between the production of 2 new fully equipped fencing trailers and the purchase of much needed posts and wire. They were later deployed to a Victorian BlazeAid base camp to support the work of BlazeAid volunteers helping to get bushfire victims back on their feet.
Thanks once again to our many FRV firefighters and staff who contribute to the Firefighters Charity Fund via payroll deduction.
