It is with regret that l advise all personnel that Retired Senior Firefighter Des Holian (Reg No: 1481) passed away on Tuesday 2 April.
Des joined the MFB on 21 March 1958 and retired on 27 March 1988 after 30 years of service to the Brigade and the community. Des served at FS 1, FS 9 (Fitzroy) and FS 28 before returning to the old Communications Centre at FS 1 “A” Platoon, from where he retired.
