It is with regret that l advise all personnel that Retired Senior Firefighter Royce ADAMS (Reg No: 972) passed away on Wednesday 16 October last. Royce joined the MFB on the 11 September 1953 and retired on 11 November 1983 after 30 years dedicated service to the Brigade and community. Records indicate that after his initial training at FS 1 Royce transferred to Western District where he served for the rest of his career; in this time he served at FS 47, FS 42, FS 52 and FS 50.
