It is with regret that I advise all personnel that Retired Station Officer John LOCKE (Reg No 1042) passed away this morning.
John joined the MFB on 26th March 1954 and retired on 26th October 1983 after almost 30 years dedicated service to the MFB and the community.
After his initial training John went on to serve, on “B” Platoon, at FS 48 (North Melbourne), FS 14 (Rosanna), FS 12 and FS 15 (Ivanhoe) before ultimately returning to Rosanna from where he retired.
